She Was Mine Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

She Was Mine

Hill, heal!
She was mine and my everything and,
You came and took her away from me!
Sheaf, shear, sheath;
You stole her away from me and broke my heart.
Muse!
Like an acean of love worthy of remembrance;
But, she was mine and my everything and,
You took her away from me and broke my legs.
Life!
With the ways of mankind;
And now, i am kept very low down in the Bay of Silence.
