She Was So Strange And Beautiful Poem by Shalom Freedman

She Was So Strange And Beautiful

SHE WAS SO STRANGE AND BEAUTIFUL

She was so strange and beautiful
That when she heard the light
It sounded like a multitude
Of angels struck with fright.

For all her blessed beatitudes
Of verses high in air
Her listeners sing in gratitude
Syllables of her prayer.
