She Will Come Poem by Wakefield Mahon

She Will Come

You wait for her again today
Maybe she speaks only French, Spanish or Italian
Sometimes she is kind
Other times she is rude
Sometimes she is deaf or does not see
Still she will come

That woman is the one you will remember
The one who stands out in your mind
She might make you laugh
Or maybe you'll cry
Sometimes she is a beautiful sight
And sometimes not
Yet she will come

The customer you remember all day, all week, perhaps even your whole life
