She Wore Her Jacket On The Inside Poem by Genevieve Surrender

She Wore Her Jacket On The Inside

Rating: 2.1

I asked to take her jacket
It was six-thirty in the morning
and she had just come in
from out in the rain.

I asked to take her jacket
as she took off her boots.
My heart was pounding
from this unexpected visit
which could possibly result
in very little clothing.

I asked to take her jacket.
She asked if she could keep it on
while she took off my pants.
