She Would Have Been Loved Poem by Arianne Owens

She Would Have Been Loved

Rating: 2.5

She's sitting on the balcony in the dead of night,
singing to herself, the only thing keeping her alive.
She's so beautiful,
if only time was taken to get to know her.
She's so beautiful,
if only understood.
No one risking their friends or lives,
no one taking the chance.
She would have been loved.
Soft white hair like mornings light,
deep blue eyes like a stormy night.
Heart of gold that will forever love,
a heart forever untouched.
If only someone took the tiem,
if someone was willing to let her inside.
She would have been loved.
The winds getting chilly, it's picking up.
A foot closer to the edge,
the last chorus of the song.
So beautiful,
such beauty now wasted,
if only time was taken,
she would have been loved.
