Sheepish Eyes Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Sheepish Eyes

Sheepish eyes

Snow white his moustache
To his age it well matched
And half bent was his back
Fluent read poem as if bird
First Kurdish, then Persian.

It was sad; very sad! ! !

"Want to leave, I must pack
Must depart, no way back
For life of hard working
Have nothing in no bank
No wealth and nothing else
Not good wife, children;
So, must go, must depart
Life for me ended, now
Leave the town go to wild
Must go and befriend
With moon and partners
Sea and sun; with desert! "

Looked at him as mirror
Sheepish eyes voiced to say:
"This is you…do not hide…
Pack and head where he goes! "

Wow this is so great. An aged man is well articulated. Thank you for sharing this great poem.
