She'll Be Alone Poem by Randy McClave

She'll Be Alone

She'll never find anyone
Soon all the good guys will all be gone,
She ran away from the guys that treated her kind and good
The way that that all men really should.
Instead she chased after a different type of man
Whose desires and needs of her was his only plan,
Instead he wanted to lead a wild and adventurous life;
Without a wife.
She just threw herself at men like him
She became an embarrassment and seemingly needy and grim,
And he laughed and joked and treated everyone better
Never once was she given a love letter.
She'll find no man with the thoughts of marriage in his head
So, she'll beg and chase and will propose instead,
She'll beg for marriage swearing their love would grow
But, the answer will always be, "No! ".
She will always go after the wrong type of guy
The one who will abuse her and will make her cry,
And he will overlook her every single day
And of course she'll think that's acceptable and okay.
Someday she'll look around and will see all who are happily married
And that faith and love will follow them after they are buried,
Then she'll notice the guys that she wants and that she's chasing
In her life their names she should had been quickly erasing.
One day she'll wake up and she will realize what did occur
She just longed after the men who just used and abused her,
And all the good guys will always be ignored
Now to the abusive man she will always walk forward.
Men will now see her as only as a good time and date
And never as a wife or their future and forever mate,
As a wife unto them she will never ever be
Never will her name be placed on their family tree.
God had placed the man who would love her once in her path
But, she used and cheated on him and walked away with a laugh,
She will now grow old and sad and all alone
And no one, but God will ever hear her saddened moan.
