My heart conflagrates at
The sound of your voice,
And my senses crumble at
The flash of your smile.
My body moves at the
Wave of your hands,
And my will submerges
At your least desires.
You owned me the first
Time I looked into your
Eyes and saw in you my
Paradise, My heaven on earth.
The greatest fool, they say,
Is a true lover, and so we
Are, in our wisdom fools
And so is God our maker.
Love is like the sun; it
Gives hope in the morning
And despair at noontide
But joy is made whole in
The evening. Time is
Undeniably love's true judge,
But she is oblivious
Of what we share.
Time stops in your absence;
A second becomes an hour
when we are apart but
When we are together,
Time flies as fast as the sun
Devours the moon to
Rule over the day.
Everything I own is stained
With a little bit of you and I
See you in everything new.
