She's Really Back Poem by Natasha Andeyi

She's Really Back

I see the way you smile around her.
I thought she broke your heart. Or was it just me who read the wrong signs.
Well, the smile is back and you seem glad that it is.

I'm not gonna lie. I was hoping I'd be the one to bring it back after your long frown. That I'd be the one to give you the life you fantasize about.
But she's back, so I guess I'll be the one stuck in the fantasy world.

I was certain she wasn't your one. I mean, the hurt she left behind was more than a sign. Plus your eyes were never settled on hers.
Either I'm hallucinating or you're the one settling.
It doesn't matter anyway. You're in her arms and not mine.
So I guess she's really back. Maybe you were meant to be hers.
