Ship Poem by Jeanne Jansen Van Vuuren

Ship

slowly I am letting you go
writing you out of my soul
nearly lost my ship
in this storm
now I am strong
sail to where I belong
to happiness and bliss
my crone showing me this
real love takes time
for roots to become entwined
do not be fooled by the waves of emotion
they can lift you high
and throw you deep under the ocean
