Shone Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Shone

Shone
Glimmering
The
City
Of
The
Night
And
Out
Were
Stars
And
Round
The
Winds
Neighed
The
Waters
Of
The
Spells
Spurted
Into
The
Night
The
Town
Of
Ghosts
And
Shrouds
Not
Derelict
But
Quiet
Still
Dreamt
Dreamt
Wild
Out
In
The
Howling
Wilderness
That
Be
The night plains
And
The
Tree-bent
Gardens
And
The
Wise
Feather-ruffled
Owls
And
The
Solitary
Silent
Nightingales.
