Shy Poem by Sydney Points

Shy

Why do people become shy?
Are they afraid or do they just want to be alone?
Their voice shall not carry up into the sky, yet their silence speaks a thousand words.
You shall be free to speak to thee.
I am one of you, never knowing, yet always showing I'm not afraid.
There is no need to be shy
There is nothing you can say to make me stop loving you, yet you barely speak to me.

You have hundreds of thoughts racing around in your mind, but you keep them locked up.
Open your mind and heart.
Share your stories, your thoughts, and your feelings.
There is no need to be shy, let me in your closed up mind.
Show me what you dare not speak.
What only you hear and bare in your mind.
Don't be shy for in your mind you are always welcome and in my heart you shall never be shunned.
Open your mind and set your thoughts free.
Come fly with me.
