Shyness Is An Aquarium



Shyness is an aquarium,
In which I foster a failure of reaching out
to someone.
Someone who already dips in the ocean that
Mirrors my eyes while
I entwine clumsy fingers in my hair.

Shyness welcomes no-one to stay
And no-one sees it,
Senses it
And stays away
