Siblings Poem by Jeannette Heywood

Siblings

Rating: 5.0

A cocktail of emotions bubbles within.
I sometimes allow you under my skin.

Sibling or foe? I try to discern.
For bonds made in childhood you have no concern.

My love for you seems unrequited.
Requests to re-unite often are slighted.

Though my fondness for you is not reciprocated.
My feelings can never be dissipated.
