Sick And Full Of Burning - Poem by Ashley Wade
I'm sick and full of burning.
My heart's been ripped out of my chest.
And though I am still standing,
My soul's been laid to rest.
And though my stomach's churning,
You will never see that I'm nervous.
I don't want you worrying about me,
'Cause it's obvious you don't really care.
I want a guy who will always be there.
And when i fake a smile and tell him I'm fine...
I want him to call my bluff then hold me and say 'It's ok to cry.'
I want the perfect guy...
And at once i thought i had...
But nobody is perfect.
And i can finally see,
That I'll never find a guy who really understands me...
Who loves me for me...
But oh, I'm sick and full of burning......
