Sick Mind Ill Heart Poem by Jay Curster

Sick Mind Ill Heart

My mind is sick, my heart is ill
The crosses burn up on that hill
It’s a sea of death to and fro
The smell of burnt flesh, vertigo

Evil has come this day to Earth
Innocent children sacrificed at birth
Sin reins and Satan grins
The priest lost his faith again

And I am but a simple man
Cant fight this war on evil land
My God’s not here to help me fight
My enemies seek my flesh tonight

In the Valley of Death I walk alone
My rod and staff have turned to bone
Please God here me this prayer I cry
Save this man before I die
