Through their eyes
what was hidden
is revealed
but just a glimpse
is all that is needed
their thoughts dark
their minds become ill
confusion sweeps them
overcomes their burdened souls
darkness prevails against them
taking control
what they once had
is gone
nothing left but the path behind them
