Side By Side Poem by Matt Mooney

Side By Side

Rating: 5.0

A mother and son ensemble:
Their love it looks so strong,
Gentle and sure around him,
A woman and child en song.

She sits him in the sunny café,
About to take a train together,
The next one is for Valencia,
But he watches for his mother.

Someone sings low on the telly
And she's nuzzling him in play
To show his trust is not in vain
As he travels by her side today.
