Walk along in my stride,
Parallel, but by my side,
Not behind
For then I cannot see
If you have wandered
Or are with me.
Should you walk a step ahead,
A space between us may grow,
Your steps may speed,
Or I may slow.
So be where your eyes meet mine,
On reaching out our hands entwine,
And as we take this walk,
We listen and we talk,
For the distance between us
Is just a divide
Of a reachable span,
Side by side.

A space between thoughts may grow. Walking along side by side amazes mind. This poem is very wisely penned...10
