Sigh Poem by kaley kodesch

Sigh

Rating: 5.0

She lies there on her bed
As tears run down her face
And thoughts race through her head

She doesn’t want to be dependent
Needing them for happiness
But she doesn’t want to be alone.
Sometimes,
She doesn’t feel like her own self
Even in her own home

No one knows how she really feels
She doesn’t like to tell
Fearing they’ll see her cry

Sitting there in silence
That fake smile upon her face
Wondering why she feels like this
And why it’s always the same
Lonely and sad with fear inside
Not glad nor happy
She’ll just give out a sigh
