Sigh Poem by Pamela Davison

Sigh

Be silent
In this moment
Of learning,
Observe with gratitude,
And make ready
To receive your counsel,
For it is now
Sweet wisdom is born.

Do not rush
Comprehension,
Merely love yourself
As you become augmented
By subtleties
You will not recognize.
Be forgiving
Of this path you've chosen.

Your higher power understands
The urgency
With which you live
And knows the fractured mirrors
Of your sanity
Awaiting redemption.
Take faith
In your full acceptance.

No matter when you get there,
Enlightenment will visit
The shores of your Spirit
And drink deeply
From the peace
Dwelling amongst the crevices
You've carved
With your own choices.

Be quiet my friend.
Hear the future sigh.
