Forget what you know its all just a ruse
Don't listen to books for they have no clue
I'm nothing at all like the man they portray
No sword no steed, can't swoop you away
Cuz you're in no tower, no dragon's fire breath
With him you're imprisoned, a hostage no less
But if I charge in head high and chest out
I'll lose all my charm you'll hate me no doubt
So here I must wait for you to break free
That's when I'll save you my princess to be
I'll give you my all cuz that's all I know
We'll write our own tales once love let's you go
So with no sword and with no steed
No dragons fire breath no swooping of feet
I give you my word that if he you leave
With me you'll find freedom and love faithfully
