Silence Poem by Edward Rhodes

Silence

Your silence is so eloquent
Communicating your dissent
Your answer to the discontent
Within my heart

I should have been more reticent
In what I said and wrote and sent
I would apologise, repent
Where shall I start?

So I remain with my lament
The memory of this incident
My words are all irrelevant
As you depart
