Silence Poem by Lexie Mulkey

Silence

Your a betrayer,
Your a heartbreaker,
Your a lover,
Your a comforter,
Just like the silence that I feel when Im alone.

Your like my conscious
Except you can breath, and
Your words hurt worse, they add to my doubts to my concerns.

When your not around, I hear your voice
Whispering in the back telling me I am a fail
When your voice isn't there,
Mr. Quiet comes to fill your place,
He tries to finish me off but sooner or later I'lll stand up
I'll find my courage and my faith
even though your right ther in your crner frowning my way

Your wise
You have aged
You judge
You don't see your own mistakes
You seem to fear that I'll overcome
You have never felt the sun, or the sand beneth your feet
So you have no happiness or a smile to cross your face

The symbol for you is the overlaping frowning faces of the oaks.
When the wind blows through their leaves evil things come lose.
Those things are like those that come out of your mouth.
You have more hatred in you than that of the oaks.
It's astonishing that a human could possibly have so much in them.

So many evil things out there, but you are the worst of them all!
One day you will smile; I'll be there, But till then I shall perfer the silence over you.
