Silence Poem by Aldo Kraas

Silence is powerful and yet my worst enemy
Sometimes I feel that I am loosing ground
I am loosing my mind yet I am fighting for what I believe
If I can make someone happy for just being in there, let me be there
Don’t push me away from where I am
We don’t have to talk all the time
It is good to know that someone need us out there
In my home is where my heart is
There is nothing like home sweet home
At late night I write in my diary
What I am thinking and feeling
Sometimes when I read over I get amazed at what I written
I feel the need to be there for somebody
I sometimes go out of my way to make this person happy
I give to those in need what I can give
And what I get in return a big smile and thanks
Thanks is a big word that means so much
And it gives you a good feeling when you come home that you’ve done So much for someone
