Silence Poem by Eleanya Ogba

Silence

A Sound i dare not explain
Slowly entangles the mind
Captures the spirit; as hawk on its
prey
Yet mild
As pure as the diamond's lustre
Oh, Silence
As though without origin
Yes i wondered; whence came
As audible as a music box
To a jurney i began
Where time has no meaning
In strange places, i wandered
Oh, silence
Still, all by myself
I flew without wings
And its embrace comforts my spirit
As though a living ghost,
I wander, like there is no
end.
