Silence Poem by arsmitha khanna

Silence

Rating: 5.0

Silence

The secret companion of slumber,
The stealthy cohort of the carcass,
Slowly daub over one,
In joy and in grieve;

In shush..... In silence...,
The flora and foliage -
Dance to the tacit rhythm of the wind,
The treasured sea shells -
Swing to and fro with the tides,
The colourful, enthralling birds -
Flutter and flap through the incessant blue,
Petite heads peep out the cocoon -
To discover a new world before it,
The multihued arc -
Mirror its distinct colour gracefully,
In the stagnant tear drops of the floating white cotton,
Not in sleeps alone,
But in every beauty of nature,
Dwells silence,
Dwells peace;

Thank u so much sir. More than writing these poems these kind of encouraging comments give me so much of inner joy and happiness. Once again thanks a lot for sparing time to read my works.
