silence is gold, ignorance is bliss
and so too is a good nights kiss.
you count my words one, two, three
and realise that this poem is for thee.
listen close to the words as i say them once,
you don't understand and i label you dunce.
happiness turns to hate and hate turns to spite
when really it all comes down to the feeling of fright.
my words are in rhyme and so is my soul,
that turned to ice quicker, than the north or south pole.
We change, we wait
and realize this is fate.
I must be dreaming about this time
and this is where i go to my beginning rhyme.
