Silence Till Death Poem by GALEED MAGAGULA

Silence Till Death

sounds of screams
Everytime his home drunk
His soul is truly black it seems
His inferiority lashes when he think
His fist pumps up when a bottle is down
Every morning his wife is brutally decorated
Her self esteem is always kicked down
To her his a good man, his a dad

The eldest child sees with prying eyes
She tells him it's not his fault
The world has taken its eyes
From him, it is it's fault
her time is borrowed time
She defends him to her child
Then child hears screams at night time
When morning comes she always cold
She wears clothes that can cover the sky
When the neighbours noticed
He says stay away from them, he is the sky.
The other night he raised his hands,
the child  noticed.

Next morning the child kissed her good bye
The day to the child was fun and happy
The joy of being in school, he wish it could last for ever but the sun has to die
When he got home he found them
Drowning in the pool of blood
Confused and drowned with grief
He called for help but they were late
That was last memory of his parents
He wears a rope in neck under that tree
