Silent Awakening Poem by Melissia Ann Senter

It happened when I was in the Hospital
with Double pneumonia
Had been there for about a week
When a Preacher came into my room

And Prayed for me to get well
It was at that moment that i had my
Silent awakening for i was very sick
That is when I realized

That God could work Miracles
I thought I was dying I was so sick
The night the Preacher came to my room
I realized the power of Prayer was great

The Next morning I was feeling 100% better
I thank the good Lord for sparing my life that day
So that i could live to raise my children and
Make sure they are were taken care of

With his silent awakening I realized
He really does have the power
to perform miracles
