Silent Kisses Poem by Tor Magnor Solvang

Silent Kisses

Your silent kisses, words on a page,
A love that's sent, a distant stage.
But oh, I yearn for more than this,
To be with you, my deepest bliss.

To hold you close, my arms entwined,
Your gentle warmth, a peace I find.
Your lips upon mine, a burning start,
A love that tests my very heart.

Your words, like kisses, soft and deep,
A gentle promise I can keep.
But paper touch, it cannot be,
The comfort that I long for, see.

I want to hold you, close and near,
To chase away all doubt and fear.
To feel your heart beat next to mine,
A love that's true, a love divine.

Your breath upon my skin, so warm,
To shield you from life's every storm.
To taste your kiss, a burning fire,
Fulfilling every sweet desire.

To be with you until the last,
Our future built, our past a cast.
This longing deep, it will not cease,
Until we find our lasting peace.
