Silent Lonely Road Poem by Jeanrey Macale Macale

Silent Lonely Road

In a split of a second everything become so silent as if every human being is asleep with the lights on
Thus, in a blink of an eye it starts to move again,
Motor and other vehicles start moving once again as if the king died
Everything starts to rush
From small slow snails to fast moving vehicles
How long will I wait for things to stop?
Can death suffice its longing?
