Silent Prayers! Poem by Sumita Jetley

Silent Prayers!

In the heart of the city's unyielding pace,
Lived Amira, with tranquility's grace.
A modern Sufi, in spirit and name,
Believed in peace, as life's ultimate aim.

'Step out in peace, ' she'd silently say,
'Why choose the storm, when calm paves the way? '
Detachment's her creed, in the worldly din,
A sanctuary within, amidst the tumult's spin.

With 'Hoo' as her guide, a sacred sound,
In its vibration, her center was found.
Peace, charity, in contemplation's embrace,
Within this single word, the universe's grace.

Each day, a journey through life's crowded street,
Where challenges and life's hurdles often meet.
Faces marked with silent battles they bear,
Amira moves among them, a breath of fresh air.

One day, beneath the city's cacophonous cries,
A young soul sits with tears in her eyes.
Frustrations of life had woven a cage,
Her heart penned within, a bird enraged.

Amira, with grace, took a seat by her side,
In the park where nature's serenity resides.
'Why let your spirit, in turmoil, be tossed? '
She gently inquired, of the battles lost.

'The hurdles, the limits, life's relentless test,
Can cloud our vision, disturb our nest.
But 'Hoo' whispers softly, it guides us to see,
Beyond the chaos, to where we're meant to be.'

The young woman listened, her heart opened wide,
To the wisdom Amira did gracefully provide.
'Life's not just the noise, the rush, or the fall,
But the silence between, where peace comes to call.'

'Choose your vibration, let 'Hoo' be your song,
Amidst life's tumult, it's where you belong.
Detach from the chaos, in tranquility soar,
For in 'Hoo, ' you'll find peace, and so much more.'

The park's gentle breeze carried Amira's words,
Like the sweetest melody, the young woman heard.
A moment of clarity, in the heart of the fray,
A choice to be made, to find a new way.

So, take from this tale, a lesson so true,
In life's bustling maze, let 'Hoo' guide you through.
For within each heart, a sanctuary lies,
Beneath the vast dome of the turbulent skies.

Amira and the young soul, in the park that day,
Found a common thread, in the Sufi's gentle sway.
A story of peace, in a world wide and vast,
With 'Hoo' as their guide, in tranquility, they basked.

In my humble opinion Sufism is a smoke screen created to disguise people.
