Silent Say Poem by Denise Landau

Silent Say

Rating: 5.0

Silent Say

The deepest stars are violet
Inside a midnight sky
The darkest secrets hidden
Unseen by the naked eye

Science telescopes don’t find them
Uncovered by the jealous heart
And so my love lies hidden
Unseen by man’s rude art

Unseen by the midnight hour
Unseen by the light of day
My love lies deep inside me
Revealed in shades of gray

For nothing lies in absolute
Nothing in the brightest day
Only the lasting test of time
Is known by silent say

The say upon a thousand wings
The say upon the ground
The say I let describe me now
With earthen rings cry out

Cry out upon the break of day
Cry out at dying sun
My heart has naught but sad for now
But soon will hold thy crown

Upon thy lips I lay my chest
Upon thy brow my stead
I know I press my cheek on thee
Thy Sacred time be now
