The Rain Kiss Poem by Denise Landau

The Rain Kiss

Rating: 5.0

The Rain Kiss

A storm broke thru the air
Filling the quiet warm
With music in the trees,
A back beat slapping
At the grass and ground.

The day long heat
Melted the wet into the space
Between sky and earth.
My shirt clung as close to me
As I wished you to be.

I can still taste your kiss.
