Silent Scream Poem by Brent Steele

Silent Scream

Rating: 5.0

Words shatter like glass,
Haunted by my hurtful past,

Can't make logic out of my thoughts,
Sadness makes me twisted and lost,

I scream at the site of my reflection,
Horrified by rejection,

Cursed by crucifixions,
So many lies,
so many addictions,

Rain brings Clouds,
Lay my face in the puddle in hopes all drowned,

I scream but no one can here,
I try to find strength but all I find is fear,

Now with every day my world starts to fade,
I pray and hope but things just stay the same,

Life is just a dream,
And this is just my silent scream.
