Silent Tear Poem by Leanna Page Markgraf

Silent Tear

I need to tell you something
before I let you go.
I have some secrets,
that I think you should know.

I cannot forgive you for hurting me
for every moment you lied.
I cannot let go of the past
even though I tried.

Many nights I have spent
with sorrow from a broken heart.
How can I recover
when my life fell apart?

As I try to say goodbye
I forget the words I want to say.
Only a silent tear rolls down my cheek
as I watch you walk away.
