Silver - Poem by Nim Lee
Silver light shining on the silver snow
That records the passage of time,
Marring and scarring a once sweet face
With the footprints of passion, the signs,
The indicators of past accident and crime,
Of suffering and struggle; darkening the glow
Of love and expectation with disappointed hopes.
Each mark a clue which indicates
Results of accident of birth of time.
