Silverchair Poem by mandy williams

Silverchair

Rating: 5.0

my pain,
is thee only love you crave
you pick it up and eat it
fusion-confusions
all these f***ing disillusions.

I'm trying to break through to you
but ya won't shed no tear
you make me bleed so nicely
from the imperfect day i met you
i should hate you by now,
when you make my world seem
so small.

My body is twisting in new lies
look in pains eyes,
see them glint like a demon's
celebrating the night,

your body not a desire, but
something that should be
set a fire

and you shall burn forever
and never fade
for the memories i hold
will never leave my side.

for i know i'll be better off to see you sitting
to hear of your pain, and screams,
wishing i could see your skeleton upon that
shining silverchair.
