Simplicity Of Just Being Alone Poem by RIC BASTASA

Simplicity Of Just Being Alone

four yellow petals
on a green stalk
no thorns
the sun above
the sea below
a bee and a butterfly
in a small garden
three pebbles
and a droplet of
water
no tears no sighs
breeze
no sound of radio
you sit alone
on a wooden floor
beside a door
not waiting for
anybody
