Simulated Wish (2010) Poem by David Joel Rodriguez

Simulated Wish (2010)

Rating: 4.0

Everyday away from people and light I take a stroll outside
hoping the earth would just open up and swallow me at night
As much as the in-law is despised by my presence everyday,
Being no good and worthless like she would repeatedly say,
It should not be a problem if I'd just vanish and respect her wish
And gladly take her daughter with me knowing we won't be missed
