Sin Poem by Sylvia Thomas

Sin

Rating: 5.0

Heart palpitating
drowning in cold sweat
with the joints in your hands
like rusted hinges.

Mind twisted,
screaming in pain,
at the sin
that the body has committed.

Where did I ever go wrong?
How did such a monster come to be?
Tragedies all over again.
Because of just one mistake.

Feet rooted to the ground,
flowers withered,
frozen in time.
Just like my soul.

Because of my sins.
