Sin's Cycle Poem by Abigail Pastor

Sin's Cycle

Rating: 4.5

Sin sits silently
Hibernating sullenly
Sinking into dormancy
Patient in its fraud

Sin lies lavishly
Reproducing lovingly
Cultivating misery
Waiting for a prod

Sin hates happily
Germinating stubbornly
Then it spews forth angrily
Retching against God

Sin is not so much about what we've done, but rather our inability to live the way that God wants us to. We try be good but we carry sin with us, it is a part of who we are and we cannot choose to be different. If God did not choose to make the link between himself and us we would be without hope. Thanks for your comment, I hope that was helpful!

Could you please define the meaning for Sin? Are these actions, already committed, yet to be committed or planned to be committed? Thank you.
