This may not be the day
we wish it'd be

but it'll do
until something better
comes along

At least the Sun is out
watch now as the clouds thin

Been a while for it
to come about
Had enough of
the Rain and Wind

We can hope tonight
will be filled with Stars
long it's been
since we've seen that light
maybe even break out
our guitars, , ,
we can play all night
or sit around, Play a Bit
under the Moon, ,
seems this day couldn't happen
none too soon


I'd love to see that again
back yard filled with friends

under the Light of Stars and Moon

Since we're in a Dream anyway
we may as well pretend
that we're lovers forever
instead of, ,
just best of friends, , ,

Seems we could find a way
To compose something worth while
for us to play, ,
something besides this tired Game
anything may come along
something better, not the same
after all, , we're the composer
of our Song, , ,

Makes us comfortable
just for us to know
that when
the Sun comes out
the road is open for us
to wander anywhere
we may want to go, , ,

Was that a New Smile
in your eyes?
was it you
who said to me, ,
" I've known you
a very long while,
always obvious
you were born a little Wise "

I may never understand why
but you think too much of
what I am, , ,
and who I may be, ,
and that too, ,
I still don't
fully understand, ,

I'm always confused
by your inflections
and, ,
any guide I have
used for directions
well those you've claimed
I should refuse

but you won't give out
no more then you'll give in

so I'm left in limbo
when all you'll give
is a selfless smile
or at times a simple grin

why the movie tune?
for me to know you better
is that such a Sin? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?

Let the Sun come out and play
