bound together, we dance
on this floor of thorns
as our feet bleed away
compelled by the songs

let us breathe together
let our heartbeats rhyme
let time stand still
let me call you mine

let our eyes explore
the depth within
let our hands move
possessed by sin

let our lips touch
what no emotion can withhold
let us explore each other
the souls not yet sold

let us stop moving
let the silence set in
with our hands entwined
we know we can win

let us not let go
for the next song will start
let us dance again
but we bleed, not apart

let us sway to the melody
of the time here now
let the song draw to an end
let us take one last bow

this is the endless cycle
of our morbid love
the never ending trance
of the flightless dove
