Slipping Through My Fingers (Recommended) - Poem by Ridah Ellahi

Slipping through my fingers
The last strings
That held the bond together
Complete
Now disintegrating
Slipping through my fingers
The remnants
Of the façade-the armor
Strong
Now demolishing
Slipping through my fingers
The last drop
Of the congealed blood
Flowing
Racing against time
