Sing And Live Poem by Patrick Akhudu

Sing And Live

I know you may want to ask
If I still love to sing
Every day from dawn to dusk
About every life's sting.

Yes, I still sing daily to live.
There're rewards to receive:
Self-release, happiness,
Breakthroughs, richness...

Each moment has a song
You too can sing along.
The notes sound great
And give life some gait.

Singing is a strong ladder
That brought me to this height.
It is the accurate radar
That locates my destiny flight.

Singing built my hilltop house
And feeds my household.
When I sing, I dig up gold
Beside rounds of applause!

Singing bought me cars;
My toys - little fancy things
Typical of music stars;
We love to live like kings!

Singing takes me places;
Bonds me with many races.
The language of music
Unifies humanity like magic!

So, I will always sing.
I am married to music;
Melody is my wedding ring,
Lyric is my only logic.

Arise all who have a voice
And together sing with joy;
Misery is a bad choice.
Burst into song and enjoy!
