Sing To Me Poem by Svanhildur Njálsdóttir

Sing To Me

All I want is for you to sing to me
Set me free
So please
A word to the wise I came to be
Me
Fading into the dust on the ground
Blind to light and deaf to sound
So Please
If you could would you sing to me
Lay my weary soul to rest again
so free
Remember when you said to me
My name is death and Im your friend
at the end
My promise lies I sing for thee
Dug deep below the ground
Deaf to light and blind to sound
So please
If you would could you just sing
To me
It would make the world seem just
and free
Like all kings will come too be
On their knees before the sea
of we
The reapers of the grain
of man
The ones who see all the pain
In the sand
Your song will end the world my friend
the end
So if you would please just sing to me
