Sinking Poem by Cindy Wright

Sinking

Sinking deeper into a darkness she finds herself looking at familiar faces
Looking at torn up memories of people and places.
Unable to turn and walk away from all the pain of her yesterdays
Her soul fights to be free from all the demons that lurk and stays.
Sinking deeper and deeper waiting to be free,
Waiting patiently for the one who holds her key.
