Sinking Feeling Poem by David Darbyshire

Sinking Feeling

Rating: 4.8

Wayne got an Idea in his Head
To got out and buy a 'Waterbed'
He went to a store and looked floor to floor to Floor
Bought a Waterbed and walked out the Door
Went out that night on the Prowl
Searched high and low, for a Lover
Wayne guessed he'd better get a Towel
And he didn't know if he would need a Cover
Later that night he met a Lady
Told her he got a new Waterbed
She said ' Waterbed Lover' Maybe?
The lady thought he must be out of his Head
When they got Home
She began to Moan
So where's the Bed
Wayne showed her his 'Waterbed'
They started to Play
Also swing and Sway
As she was lying on the Bed
She asked ' was your name Fred'?
Sorry, Wayne began to Cry
The lady let out a big Sigh
The night had taken it's Toll
Also in the 'waterbed' was a Big Hole! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

They both had that sinking Feeling.................
